Accelerating SME Digital Trade:
The 20in8 SME Digital Skilling Initiative,

The 20in8 SME Digital Skilling Project spearheaded by SME SOKO Digital Access, is a transformative initiative targeting the empowerment of 20 million women and youth across East Africa by 2030. As a registered non-profit organisation, SME SOKO is dedicated to uplifting women and youth-led Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) through digital innovation and trade facilitation. Harnessing the opportunities of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA), the project equips underserved formal and informal SMEs with critical skills and tools in digital trade, cross-border payments, Transport and Logistics and cybersecurity . By driving results-based impact, we support women and youth SMEs to thrive in the digital economy and tap into the AfCFTA’s expansive market of 1.7 billion people, fostering inclusive economic growth throughout the region.
